MyDevil.net is a professional shell account service, giving you access to a wide variety of services related to hosting. Think about our accounts like about a central point of all your projects. Two clicks - you host a WWW website. Ruby on Rails? Django? Tomcat? One simple command and your website uses any of these. You need a seedbox? All you do is invoke one command, you are on a torrent server. The same with VPN and voice servers.
The above list could be stretched and stretched. What we offer mainly depends on our users needs. If there is a need for something and it can be installed on our servers - why not? Why don't you read this page to know why should you have an account.
Shell accounts for developers...
MyDevil.net allows you to use most of programming languages, including: Python, PHP, Perl, Ruby, TCL, Lua. In our offer you can find accounts which allow you to use only preinstalled interpreters, but there are also accounts that allow you to use compilators and frameworks. If you won't find the technology you're interested in below, contact us! If it's possible, we will install it!
Installed versions: 2.7 and 3.1 - most of the modules are already installed. You can also use django and pylons frameworks.
By default in 5.3 version, but all you have to do is add one more line to .htaccess file, to change it back to 5.2, or even to 5.4. Thanks to our special module, our nginx server supports .htaccess standard, and our on-demand PHP spawner minimizes unnecessary RAM usage.
We have a dedicated machine especially for that language. You can run MineCraft servers on it.
No difference here - most popular gems are pre-installed globally. If something is missing, just send a message to the administrator, and he will install missing packages. You can also install gems in your home directory. Of course, Ruby on Rails is also supported.
We have already installed most of this language modules. If, however, something is missing, all you have to do is contact us. You can also compile modules by yourself directly from CPAN (in your home directory).
TCL/TK is unstalled in our system with 8.5 version, including TCLLib, providing most popular packages.
This light-weight scripting language, mostly used to create extensions, has been provided in 5.1 version.
On our shell accounts you get access to many compilers, including C, C++ and even D!

We have preinstalled most popular IRC clients. Here you can find irssi, weechat, bitchx, epic and much, much more.
Additionally, it is possible to run IRC bouncers, like znc or psybnc, and even quasselcore on our accounts. You can also launch IRC bots like eggdrop or supybot, and any other bot, working under FreeBSD operating system.
Our servers have many vhosts - additional IP addresses, that you can use to connect to Quakenet or IRCnet!
Seedbox, torrentsTwo plans from our offer have access to a dedicated torrent machine, through which one can access P2P networks. Every user gets up to 10Mbit of bandwidth, and from 10 to 20 GB disk quota. |
JabberEvery user can host Jabber in his own domain, with jggtrans and Multi User Conference available. |
VPN, SSH Tunelling, USA and Polish ProxyWe provide access to VPN localized in France. All accounts permit SSH tunelling usage. However, if you need something with Polish or USA IP, we do give access to our polish and USA proxy servers. |
You can host yout mailboxes here - in the best shell plan up to 2000 accounts! We have provided a few popular web based mail clients - of course, only through secure https connection. Additionally, your mail is protected with advanced anti spam filters and an antivirus scanner. Each user can add a mail box like login@user.mydevil.net. You can also create mail accounts in your own domain. |
Databases
We give access to most popular databases, such as: MySQL, SQLite and PostgreSQL. You can create new databases by yourself, using our account management system.

Own IP addressThis service is unavailable from many other service providers. For only 5 PLN monthly you can own your private IP Address, which only you can use. If you are a developer and you need your own IP address to host your projects, or if you need to use IRC without limits * - this feature is for you! * - IRC connections are not limited from a private IP. |
StabilityWe do not perform overselling. Account parameters forbids users to interrupt each other - and yet, these limits are still higher. Thanks to reasonable account limiting, using our shell accounts is a pleasure. |
SecurityOur servers are being run by a stable and secure operating system - FreeBSD, which allows you to sleep calmly. ZFS filesystem and a remote backup server assures, that in case of a crash your data will remain untouched. |
